The CFM is inviting the Community Garden, the Food Pantry, and any other Nacimiento Group to participate in a flea market and celebration.  Each group will collect items to sell for the benefit of that group.  Hoping to have musicians at the event!  More later.  Please contact Elena Snyder if you are interested.

Celebrate Cuba's newest trail with a moonlight hike. All welcome.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 9, 2014

TIME: 7:00 pm (following the Alliance meeting)

WHERE: meet paved parking area west of elementary school fence on School Road.

BRING: water, flashlight, stadium cushion or something to sit on, jacket, sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots, camera

DISTANCE: approximately 3/4 mile each way

DIFFICULTY: gradual uphill and downhill sections

SUNSET: 7:25 pm
TWILIGHT: 7:51 pm
MOONRISE: 7:49 pm

The trail ends ends on a hilltop with amazing views of the Nacimiento Mountains, Valley of Cuba, and Cuba Mesa...a perfect spot to watch the sunset over Cuba and the moonrise over the mountains.
